Terms and Conditions

This online shop sells only in U.S. dollars. Other currencies are displayed based on Google Finance market rates. When paying in other currencies you can expect to pay 2% to 4% more than the market rates (rate depends on your contract with your credit card issuer, Stripe, or PayPal).

Orders placed online are not binding until we review and accept the order. The order form you receive online is not an invoice – the invoice will be generated when we ship the order. We reserve the right to refuse orders for any reason including errors in the software or stock shortages. Thanks for your understanding.

Order Processing Time

All orders require a minimum of one business day for processing. Orders with Next Day or Express Shipping are shipped as soon as possible. Orders with Standard or postal shipping may require up to 5 days for processing. Contact us if you need shipping the same day. Custom-loaded tapes and other custom items will need additional manufacturing time as described in the product listing. Some items may be located in different warehouses or shops and may need 1 to 2 weeks to consolidate into one location for shipping. Canada Post and USPS shipments are generally shipped once per week.

Artwork Resubmission

An artwork resubmission fee of at least $20 will apply if new artwork files need to be submitted after your order is in production or a proof has been sent.

Setup and Prepress

Setup fees include prepress and master processing. If a proof is required, one resubmission before approval is included.

Delivery Time

Only business days are counted as delivery days. Saturday delivery may be available at extra cost.

Coupons and Discounts

Only one coupon or special offer may be redeemed per order. Coupons and discounts are redeemed during checkout.

Shipping

Our shop calculates shipping rates for North America based upon your postal code. In order to get an accurate total including shipping and taxes you must proceed to the checkout pages and enter a postal code. In most cases we ship by UPS, USPS, Fedex, DHL, or local couriers. If the courier cannot deliver because your office is closed or you are not home there may be additional shipping fees charged. The courier may leave a tag or call you to arrange pickup or delivery. If a package is returned to us because the courier cannot contact you during business hours, you will be charged an additional shipping fee to reship. Address corrections: A $15 fee applies if you request a change in delivery address after the shipment has been sent.

Free Shipping Offers

Some items may include free shipping in North America. If offered, free shipping includes delivery within Canada and the USA to urban areas. We reserve the right to refuse free shipping to remote areas, or to ship by parcel post. Free shipping is not available on overseas shipments.

Fragile Items

CD jewel boxes and audio cassette cases are very fragile so you can expect some damage when shipping these items. It is your option to request double-boxing and to pay additional shipping costs to prevent damage. In many cases this additional expense is more than the typical amount of damage.

Residential Deliveries

Deliveries to your home may be left on your porch or in a safe location based upon the driver’s discretion. You may be left a note or receive a phone call and you may have to pick up the package at the nearest depot if you were not home when the driver passed. If a package cannot be found, contact the courier immediately to start an investigation. Here are the customer service phone numbers:

PO Boxes

Shipments to PO boxes can only be sent by Canada Post or USPS parcel service. There is no signature receipt. These shipments are at your risk. There is no refund for lost parcels.

Undeliverable Shipments

Any undeliverable item is billed an equal amount of shipping for the return – if you do not pick up at your postal outlet or if you give us the wrong address, you must pay for return shipping to us and for reshipping to you. For example: shipping was $15, you did not pick up at the post office so the parcel was returned to us at a cost of $15, and we reship it to you for an additional $15. Total shipping cost to you: $45.

Taxes

Taxes will be charged according to the shipping address.

Orders shipped to or picked up in Ohio will be charged the Ohio and Cuyahoga county sales taxes equalling 8%

International Shipments

We ship anywhere in the world by express couriers or the postal service. We do not charge Canadian taxes when we export, but you will be responsible for paying import duties and taxes. For example in Europe there is a VAT tax you will have to pay upon reception. This applies on shipments valued over €15 to €20 depending on your country. There may also be duties, customs fees, and disbursement fees.

Reputation

We may refuse international orders based on lack of verifiable reputation. Supply your website, facebook, or other information to help us validate your identity.

Standard delivery

Standard deliveries are usually sent by UPS, USPS, Fedex, or other regional couriers. Please allow 1 to 5 days for order preparation.

Next Day delivery

These orders are usually sent by UPS, Fedex, DHL or USPS. By choosing this option your order will go to the head of the shipping queue for shipping asap. We try to get these orders out the same or next day.

Returns

There are several categories of products with different return policies:

– Regular-stock blank media, cases, and sleeves: unopened material in resellable condition may be exchanged for equivalent value within 14 days. You are responsible for all shipping costs. At our discretion, a refund may be issued with a 15% restocking fee. If we made an order-picking error we will replace the material at our cost. CD jewel boxes and audio cassettes cases are very fragile so you can expect some damage when shipping these items. The other option is to request double-boxing and to pay additional shipping costs to prevent damage. In most cases this additional expense is more than the typical amount of damage.

– Microboards hardware and consumables: Microboards tech support: 952-556-1639 or support@microboards.com

– Custom-manufactured or custom-printed items: no returns except for defects. Defective product will be replaced or refunded, at our option. We must be notified within 7 days of reception.

– Items marked as or in categories Liquidation, Clearance, or Final Sale: No returns or refunds unless the item is not as described.

– Special-order and drop-ship items: We will issue an RMA number (return merchandise authorization number) and you must return the goods to the address we give you. A restocking fee of 15% will apply and packaging must be unopened. Please allow 1 week after warehouse reception for credit. Retail brand blank media often comes with “Limited Lifetime Warranty” by the manufacturer – read the packaging material for return instructions.

Limitation of liability

Our maximum liability in all cases shall not exceed the purchase price.
